Welcome to the Henry County Cooperative Extension

Our mission is to extend lifelong learning to Henry County citizens through unbiased, research-based education in agriculture, the environment, communities, youth and families. The Cooperative Extension is a partnership between the University of Georgia and local counties that provide the community with education and resources in three program areas.

Our goal is to assist and educate local farmers, businesses, homeowners, gardeners and Master Gardeners with information about plant identification, plant diseases, insect identification, pest control, and soil and water testing.

4-H Youth & Development

Henry County's future leaders learn life skills through hands-on learning experiences. 4-H is considered one of the world's largest youth clubs offering today's youth ages 9-19 with a variety of clubs, programs, summer camp and activities.
