Mission

Our mission is to extend lifelong learning to Georgia citizens through unbiased, research-based education in agriculture, the environment, communities, youth and families.

The Forsyth County Extension is part of the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and the College of Family and Consumer Sciences. We are also an educational division of the Forsyth County Board of Commission and the Forsyth County School Board.

Our purpose is to bring current research and information to the people of Forsyth County in the areas of Agriculture/Environment, Family and Consumer Sciences, and 4-H/Youth Development.

The University of Georgia Cooperative Extension offers educational programs, assistance, and materials to all people without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex or handicap status.

Information can be accessed by way of phone calls, e-mail, classes, newsletters, this website, and by use of the extensive pamphlet library located at the Extension Office.
